Support delays today / we lost phone and data lines in hostweb office
Dear ClientsAt 6:00 am this morning Hostweb Live lost phone/data connectivity to the office for a majority of the day whilst Telstra have been onsite working on repairing the lines for HostWeb Live, we thank the clients who used the emergency mobile number.We're sorry this has happened but it is out of our hands and one of those freak occurrences, we have purchased a backup wireless connection for the office, so should we lose Phone/data connectivity we will still have Data/internet accessThis had not affected any servers at all; it has merely delayed us in responding to support tickets today and disrupted our daily server admin work as we rely on the internet obviously.Thank you for your support and understanding in advance, it really was just a freak occurrence.We’re now getting on top of outstanding support tickets, if this has disrupted your business operations please send a polite email into accounts@hostweblive.com.au and we can arrange some credit for you, as per our fair policy and customer relation ethics.

Adelaide new network mapping server-03 is not down
The server is not down for those of you who do not have the technical skills to pickup on this. Some isps are picking up the new routing we have in place as the Agile 2gbps upgrade to 4gbps has been finished and now in action - so you may experience some odd routing and sites down but they are not actualy down as explained above.. I repeat server-03 is not down. Thank You Host Web Live Network Team

Anual Hostweb staff function / support delays

Cpanel issue on server-03
One of our clients has reported a cpanel license glitch - we have techs looking at it now. No services are down however and it is most likely a Cpanel related issue relating to cpanels licensing server used to validate cpanel licenses globaly.

Fibre Upgrade Maintenance - No downtime due to multihomed servers/network
** Australia Scheduled Maintenance/Outage ** Changes to primary & secondary fibre uplink(s) in WA, some clients may possibly experience some latency or disconnection on server2.*. We do not expect any outages during this maintenance window, however if an outage occurs, please be patient as we will be closely monitoring all our services to limit the damage this maintenance window has on our clients. Once maintenance has been completed we will be operating on a new fibre optic connection that is 10x our current connection. This outage is due to start on 20/June/2006 @ 0:00 hrs This outage is esimated to last till 21/June/2006 @ 0:00 hrs We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause you, but in order to maintain a great & fast service upgrades are needed. General Update: * New web site is not far away now * Happy birthday to Michelle Customer Services and best wishes!! if you speak with her via remember to say happy birthday * USA Psybncs will now be offered ontop of AU psybncs * We have a windows AU server going up this week so we can host channel mIRC Bots, This server will be placed on a 12mbps Business Link in our Perth Office.
